Your Contribution

Drive sales growth and achieve KPIs (revenue, gross margin, share of wallet) within your assigned region
Develop new business opportunities and secure orders, including adjacent industries
Prepare and negotiate annual contracts, pricing, and forecasts in close alignment with internal stakeholders
Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and handling complaints professionally
Monitor market trends and competitors, sharing insights to support strategic decisions
Maintain accurate customer data and documentation in CRM systems
Represent SCHOTT at trade shows and cross-functional meetings
Collaborate with cross-functional global teams (Finance, Operations, Marketing) to execute regional strategy.

Your Profile

Educational Background & Experience : Master’s degree in Optics, Electronics, Physics, or a related Engineering discipline, combined with at least 5 years of proven success in technical sales within an industrial environment
Technical Expertise : Strong understanding of electronics, optical materials, and components, with the ability to translate technical specifications into customer solutions
Sales & Negotiation Skills : Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals with high-value customers
Communication & Interpersonal Competence : Fluent in English (additional skills in German is a plus) and skilled in building trustful relationships across functions and cultures within a matrix organization
Strategic & Analytical Mindset : Comfortable with market analysis, forecasting, and identifying new business opportunities; willingness to travel internationally as required
